Transcend RAM - Any good?

Postby Bones » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:11 pm

I have a chance to get 4 1GB sticks of Transcend AXE DDR3 PC16000 RAM for about $80.00, shipped. I was wondering if this brand was any good or whether I should just avoid them like the plague.

Here's a pic of the sticks:

CAS 7's would be good.

I have Transcend ram that came as OEM RAM in a laptop.
I changed it to Kingston Hyper X, just cause I wanted to,
The OEM RAM worked just fine.

I'm still looking for a few good spills here and there.

I'll make the guy an offer and see what he says. 4 sticks for $80.00 isn't too bad of a deal, esp if they will perform.
